Issues concerning sustainability, the environment and occupational health and safety are an integral part of Axelent’s operations. Management by objectives ensures continuous improvements in these areas.We adopt an approach that leads to long-term sustainable development through continuous improvements and efforts to reduce all conceivable environmental impact.
Axelent complies with laws and regulations, as well as customer demands, concerning environmental responsibility. Spanning everything from our own wind turbines to products that are 99% recyclable, we want to minimise our environmental impact in every way possible.
Energy consumption
We always strive to reduce our environmental impact. Axelent has its own wind turbines that provide 100% of the energy used by the business.
Surplus heat from production is used to heat our premises. So as not to use more energy than necessary, we have installed energy monitors.
Recycling
Axelent strives to ensure high efficiency in our use of natural resources.
As part of these efforts, we favour systems for recycling and reusing materials. Axelent’s products are 99% recyclable and we partner with market leaders in the field.
Axelent endeavours to reduce scrap and spoilage in production. Recycling is of course admirable, but it is always better to maximise material utilisation.
